Dr. Haimwant Persaud is an entrepreneur and a Geospatial Solutions Architect who leverages location intelligence to drive insights. He is the Director of Latitude Geospatial, a company that provides various geospatial services and solutions. He is a Certified GIS Professional and has thirteen (13) years of experience in Applied Geospatial Technologies. Academically, he possesses a BSc. degree in Forest Engineering, an MSc. in Geographic Information Systems, an MBA in Project Management, an Executive MBA, and a Ph.D. in Applied Geosciences. Dr. Persaud is the President of the Essequibo Island-West Demerara Chambers of Commerce and was re-elected as the Treasurer of the Private Sector Commission of Guyana during the PSC’s 2024 AGM.
